As a Baltimore native, I have witnessed the damage that addiction to drugs and alcohol has inflicted on residents of our beloved City.  Valley/Bridge House recognized the need to address this scourge in 1955, when it  established the first long-term residential treatment facility for men recovering from alcoholism in Baltimore.  This vanguard program continues its dedication to the care, treatment and rehabilitation of alcoholic and chemically dependent men.

I was invited to join the Board in 2013, while a Principal at the law firm of Miles & Stockbridge P.C. (recently retired). It is my privilege to continue to support and further its mission to foster these men’s recovery, so that they may once again become productive and contributing members of their families and the Baltimore City community.
