I am a physician who has specialty training in Addiction Medicine.  Previously, I worked privately as an OB/Gyn in the Baltimore area.  After 35 years in practice, it was time to investigate other ways to satisfy my desire to help others and give back to society what was given to me.

Addiction Medicine gave me what I was looking for.  After taking extensive training, I started working in a recovery program and have continued in that capacity for many years.  I evaluate incoming and returning clients and offer medical help to achieve a lasting recovery. 

Through my work, I was introduced to Valley/Bridge House and its director.  I was immediately attracted to its program because clients could stay in treatment, inpatient, for 6 months.  I was aware of the relapse rate of typical 28-day programs.  The director and counselors impressed me with their knowledge and sensitivity to the issues of addiction.

As a board member, I offer my general services in addition to my expertise in the medical aspects of addiction treatment.
