Dr. Eastham brings health services research and business expertise to the Board of Directors which he joined in 2017.   He earned his Doctor of Science degree in Health Services Research from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health in 1985.  He taught at the University of Maryland Baltimore County Department of Emergency Health Services for 17 years, serving as Department Chairman and Graduate Program Director for many years.  He also developed UMBC’s first online learning graduate degree program in Emergency Health Services Management. In 1999 he left academia for private enterprise.  He was co-founder of CentreLearn Solutions, an online education company and served as Chief Executive Officer until his retirement in 2013.
