I am a physician who has specialty training in Addiction Medicine. Previously, I worked privately as an OB/Gyn in the Baltimore area. After 35 years in practice, it was time to investigate other ways to satisfy my desire to help others and give back to society what was given to me.
Addiction Medicine gave me what I was looking for. After taking extensive training, I started working in a recovery program and have continued in that capacity for many years. I evaluate incoming and returning clients and offer medical help to achieve a lasting recovery.

Valley/Bridge House recognized the need to address this scourge in 1955, when it established the first long-term residential treatment facility for men recovering from alcoholism in Baltimore. This vanguard program continues its dedication to the care, treatment and rehabilitation of alcoholic and chemically dependent men. I am honored to have the privilege to serve on the Board and do my part to support and further our ambitious mission to foster these men’s recovery, so that they may once again become productive and contributing members of their families and the Baltimore City community.
